Your battery percentage, charging status and estimated time remaining — detected live from your browser's Battery Status API. All local, nothing sent to our servers.
⚠️ Battery information requires the Battery Status API, which is supported by Chrome-based browsers. Firefox and Safari do not support this API due to privacy concerns (battery data can be used for fingerprinting). On desktops, the battery level is typically shown as 100%.
The Battery Status API (also known as the Battery API) is a web browser API that provides information about the device's battery charge level and charging status. It exposes four properties: the battery level (0 to 1, representing 0% to 100%), whether the device is currently charging, the estimated time in seconds until the battery is fully charged, and the estimated time in seconds until the battery is fully discharged.
The API is standardised by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) and was initially widely supported. However, Firefox removed support in 2016 due to privacy concerns — researchers demonstrated that battery data could be used as a fingerprinting vector to track users across websites even in private browsing mode. Apple's Safari has never implemented the Battery Status API for the same reason.
If battery information shows as "Not available", it may be because:
Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave, and other Chromium-based browsers typically support the Battery Status API on devices with a battery.
